CJB‐400 18/16 mil clear security film is a multi‐layered, high strength, window film that is applied to window glass to dramatically increase strength, security and protection.

Applications:

CJB‐400  18/16 mil clear security films is currently used in residential, commercial, high rise, store front, education, law Enforcement, government, and military settings. It protects against burglary, smash and grab, natural disasters, wind, seismic, fire arms, explosions, and riots.

CJB – 18/16 mil clear security films also come in a range of tinted shades, from silver to black and much more. Making CJB – 18/16 mil films the ideal solution to all your security glass needs.

Case Studies (Performed in controlled laboratory):

Blunt force: Applied to the rear side of ½ inch glass, the product will withstand 15 min continual strike with 10 lb, sledge hammer until a 4 inch diameter opening occurs.

Wind: Applied to the rear side ½ inch glass, 5 lb steel ball does not penetrate at a speed of 130 MPH.

Fire Arm: Applied to the rear side ½ inch glass, 9mm, PK .380 and 12 gage shot gun do not penetrate at a distance  of 6 ft.

Explosion: Once applied to rear side of glass, laminate is able to withstand force from an explosion. Holding glass fragments in place preventing more fatalities.
